Nirmol Dharoni is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The company is committed to helping vulnerable communities and populations in developing countries adapt to and mitigate the impacts of climate change.

Its core team has accumulated more than 15 years of experience in developing and trading carbon emission reduction projects since the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) era. The team has developed and traded more than 60 carbon emission reduction projects internationally, covering major carbon reduction mechanisms and standards, including CDM, Gold Standard (GS), Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), and China Certified Emission Reduction (CCER).

In alignment with the mechanisms established under Articles 6.2 and 6.4 of the Paris Agreement, international standards such as VCS and GS, and applicable carbon emission reduction standards, Nirmol Dharoni develops and trades high-quality climate change mitigation projects.

These projects include, but are not limited to, water purification, energy-efficient cookstoves, carbon emission reduction in paddy fields, methane recovery and utilization on livestock farms, wastewater treatment, afforestation and reforestation, forest conservation and avoided deforestation, forestry REDD projects, grassland carbon sinks, clean energy generation in Least Developed Countries (LDCs), and electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.
